City of Spring Branch Election Information

The Mayor and City Commissioners are elected to two-year terms. The Mayor’s term expires in November of 2023 and the two Commissioners terms expire the following year (2024). Elections are held in May each year. Key dates for the 2023 and 2024 elections are contained in the link below, including deadlines for submitting applications and election dates. Questions can be directed to the Mayor’s office or to the Comal County elections office.

If you wish to appear on the ballot for the office of Mayor in 2023, here is what you need know and the specific dates that apply.
Applicants must reside within the City Limits of Spring Branch and must have established residence within the County for a minimum of six months.
